   About me

I'm fascinated by the preservation of minority or endangered cultures and languages. I have a degree in Anthropology and French from the University of Virginia, and a Master in Applied Linguistics from the University of Barcelona.

My boyfriend is from Galicia, Spain, and thanks to him I've become interested in Galician culture and language. We met as teaching assistants in Besançon, France, and then moved to Barcelona, Spain. We're currently living in Geneva, Switzerland and I'm doing an internship at an NGO that works to support Indigenous delegations at the UN.

A native English speaker, I also have 3 years' experience teaching English to adults and teenagers (both general and Business English), and I'm interested in pursuing a career in the fields of language and cultural training and/or the preservation of languages and cultures.
